Acquisitions Manager - FinanceLocation: London (Hybrid)Package: NegotiableWe're delighted to be looking to recruit an Acquisitions Manager - Finance to support our ongoing Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and the subsequent integration of the acquired businesses.You'll be working closely with a variety of stakeholders across the internal finance team, the M&A team and our newly acquired businesses on supporting their transition from an external business to a hub within our growing operations.You'll need to be a qualified accountant with a sound understanding of M&A processes and how to integrate businesses into existing frameworks smoothly and efficiently.The day to day:

  • Managing the Finance integration for acquired businesses (including converting investment hypothesis's into budgets and producing opening balance sheets)
  • Integrating the businesses into BAU operations
  • Accounting correctly for acquisitions under US and UK GAAP
  • Driving change and best practice across the team
  • Run accounting operation with acquired businesses covering the pre-integration phase through to integration with the BAU team (Including SOX submissions)
  • Work with the BI team to integrate acquired businesses into the data warehouse
  • Ensure all activities are aligned and promoted in line with company culture
  • Ensure teammates are appropriately trained to adopt new tools and processes

  • You'll be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, ICAEW or equivalent) and be well versed in Mergers & Acquisitions and their subsequent integrations.
  • You'll have working knowledge of the Insurance market place both within the UK and wider regions with exposure to both UK and US GAAP and ideally some experience of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) submissions
  • Your wider skill set should include strong communication (written, verbal, video), analytical, numerical, stakeholder management, influencing and IT skills.
  • Working knowledge of relevant finance platforms (Ideally Workday Finance).
